The Church of God’s Faithful approached THE PRESS FACTORY with multiple issues on their long established website as well as the need for the ability to play sermons through podcast and video.
The Church of God’s Faithful had a website that was desperate for a facelift. They had produced a site at the turn of the century that was sorely lacking in design. This caused a lack of flow on the site making it difficult to read.
The Press Factory was able to use the Avada Theme to reconstruct the site in a much more organized manner including an organized menu structure, high contrast headers, and images that enhanced the text enabling the reader to easily find what they are looking for.
We directed the church to use an upload service for their sermons, and we were able to train their administration to connect those
sermons to searchable posts on the website. The same thing was accomplished with Youtube sermons.
Time Management
Time management was established through weekly reports to the client delivered by email and sometimes text messages due to the time constraints of the client’s busy lifestyle.
User Testing
Site development and user testing was done on a staging site and then the site was moved when construction was finished. The client could examine progress along the way, with the
understanding that the design was a fluid process and what was seen on the site initially, a theme template, would change dramatically by the end of the design process.
Project Management
The Press Factory managed the construction of the site though email, as this was a donated construction for the non-profit. We no longer give non-profits free design, but we do have reduced non-profit rates.
